Denial

 If you can't remember
your last drink,
you haven't
had it yet.

A guy goes to a friend's funeral and during the
service asks the man's aunt,
"What a shame, how did he die?"
"Cirrhosis," she laments.
"That's terrible, did he ever quit drinking?"
Oh, no," she replied. "It never got that bad."

Alcoholism is the only disease that tries to convince you that you don't have it.

The further you're away from your last drink, the closer you are to your next.

There are no coincidences, only where God chooses to remain anonymous.

It's not the fifth drink that gets you drunk, it's the first.

An alcoholic is someone whose life is better if they don't drink.

There's no problem that can't be made worse by picking up a drink.

Denial is not just a River in Egypt.

If you think you have a drinking problem, you just might.

I wasn't an alcoholic until I stopped drinking.

An alcoholic will find dust in a Gold Mine.

Just because you're not getting what you pray for, doesn't mean prayers don't work.

We only learn from the hard lessons, the easy ones are soon forgotten.

Your best thinking got you here.

It's a simple road for complicated people.

Is alcohol the cause of my problems, or the result?

I drank to get over the effects of drinking.

If you treat people badly today, you get to reap the benefits tomorrow.

You can carry the message, but not the alcoholic.

Alcoholism is an incurable disease, loneliness is not.

If nothing changes, nothing changes.

"No" is a complete sentence.

I don't have a problem unless I think I do.
