A man falls
down a deep chasm and as he falls, grabs hold of a teeny twig which
breaks his fall. "If there's anybody up there listening,"
he shouts, "please help me!" With that, the clouds part and
a ray of light hits him as a deep voice booms out, "Let go, my
son, and I will bear you up". The man thinks for a moment and says,
"Anybody else up there?"
When you get
to the end of your rope. . .let go.
Detach with
love, serenity, poise, gratitude and fortitude
but if that doesn't work, detach with an axe.
The fastest
way to end an argument is to give up being right.
The way I usually
let go of something is by leaving my fingernail marks all over it.
When the horse
