Surrender

Surrender is riding
the Ibis in the
direction it's going.

A man falls down a deep chasm and as he falls, grabs hold of a teeny twig which breaks his fall. "If there's anybody up there listening," he shouts, "please help me!" With that, the clouds part and a ray of light hits him as a deep voice booms out, "Let go, my son, and I will bear you up". The man thinks for a moment and says, "Anybody else up there?"

When you get to the end of your rope. . .let go.

Detach with love, serenity, poise, gratitude and fortitude
but if that doesn't work, detach with an axe.

The fastest way to end an argument is to give up being right.

The way I usually let go of something is by leaving my fingernail marks all over it.

When the horse dies. . .dismount.

Be patient, God isn't through with you yet.

Trying to pray is praying.

If you don't understand the concept of a Higher Power,
go down to the ocean and try and hold back a wave.

The harder it is to give something up, the more you know you should.

Surrender is following the direction God's finger is pointing

You can start your day over at any time.

Mistakes are our teachers.

I felt a lot better when I gave up all hope.

You can either let go or be dragged.

An acronym for God: Good Orderly Direction.

My life is none of my business.

That people think of me is none of my business.

Acceptance is transcendence.

If you resist it, it gets worse. If you accept it, it gets better.

Progress not perfection.

We are never given more than we can handle.

Let go, let God.
